Electrical Apprentice - 3-5th Year

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of a licensed electrician.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems.
• Assist in the installation and connection of electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
• Use hand tools and power tools to measure, cut, bend, and install wiring and conduit.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on electrical systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in an apprenticeship program is required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical principles and concepts.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
