Our work is approximately 90% residential and 10% commercial. This is hands-on service and remodel work in real buildings—not repetitive new construction.

As an apprentice, you will work under the direct supervision of a journeyman electrician, receiving hands-on training while taking on more responsibility as your skills and experience grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Residential service and troubleshooting
  • Remodel electrical work
  • Rewires and older-home electrical
  • Installing receptacles, switches and lighting
  • Recessed lighting
  • Dedicated circuits
  • Panel and service work
  • EV charger installations
  • Working in attics and crawlspaces
  • Occasional commercial electrical work
  • Material preparation and jobsite cleanup

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have a current California Electrical Trainee (ET) card
  • Be actively enrolled in an approved electrical training program or have completed the required training
  • Have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and understand how to reference the Code when needed
  • Have previous hands-on electrical experience
  • Have their own basic electrician hand tools
  • Have reliable personal transportation to and from work and jobsites
  • Have a valid California driver's license
  • Be able to pass a drug screening
  • Be comfortable working in attics and crawlspaces
  • Be able to safely perform the physical duties associated with residential and commercial electrical work
  • Be dependable and punctual

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes the electrical trade seriously and wants to continue developing their skills.

You should be:

  • Mechanically inclined and willing to problem-solve
  • Able to follow instructions and increasingly work independently
  • Safety-conscious
  • Comfortable asking questions when you don't understand something
  • Willing to learn from experienced electricians
  • Able to keep tools, materials and jobsites organized
  • Able to think through a task before beginning work
  • Interested in becoming a skilled, well-rounded electrician

Residential electrical experience is especially valuable because the majority of our work is performed in existing homes.

Schedule & Benefits

  • Approximately 30–40 hours per week
  • Some overtime available/required depending on workload
  • Paid time off
  • 3% company retirement match
  • Direct supervision and hands-on training from a journeyman electrician
  • Experience in residential service, troubleshooting, remodels, rewires and commercial electrical work
  • Small-company environment where responsibility grows with your skills
