Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in electrical work, supporting licensed electricians on various projects. The ideal candidate will have commercial experience and the ability to work effectively with a helper to complete small jobs. This paid position provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and gain practical industry knowledge in a professional environment.

Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings
• Support the team in completing small electrical jobs efficiently and accurately
• Work collaboratively with helpers to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards during all work activities
• Learn to interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions under supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled and stored
• Participate in training sessions to expand electrical knowledge and skills

Skills

• Prior commercial electrical experience is required
• Ability to work well with a helper and follow instructions effectively
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in the electrical trade
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
