Electrical Apprentice

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with the installation and wiring of electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments following electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to perform electrical measurements and troubleshoot issues.
• Bending conduit accurately to specifications and installing conduit systems in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure a safe working environment on construction sites.
• Support the installation of low voltage systems and commercial electrical systems while maintaining compliance with NFPA 70 and NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Collaborate with team members to complete wiring tasks, system installations, inspections, and quality checks efficiently.

Experience

• Prior experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrical work is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with construction site environments and safety protocols is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical theory.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, conduit benders, and basic wiring techniques.
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures related to NFPA 70 compliance and OSHA standards.
• Strong desire to learn from experienced electricians while demonstrating reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward safety.

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
