Duties

• Assist with electrical systems installation, including wiring, conduit bending, and electrical blueprint reading.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform various electrical tasks on construction sites or commercial facilities.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution.
• Operate testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and ensure system integrity.
• Follow strict electrical safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Support experienced electricians in installing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Participate in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial electrical systems while adhering to NFPA 70 compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential.
• Basic knowledge of electrical blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and conduit bending techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites or in industrial environments with varying physical demands.
• Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality workmanship.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework related to electricity is a plus.
