Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities
• Use hand tools and power tools to pull wire, install conduit, and set fixtures according to schematics and blueprints
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring layouts
• Conduct basic testing using tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and components
• Support the setup of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication lines while adhering to NEC standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety procedures related to construction and electrical work
• Learn to identify different types of wiring, connectors, circuit breakers, and other electrical components

Experience

• No prior professional experience required; however, hands-on experience with construction site work or related fields is a plus
• Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, and drills preferred
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts including low voltage versus high voltage systems
• Experience reading blueprints or schematics is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Demonstrated interest in the electrical trade through coursework or personal projects is desirable
• Ability to work safely on construction sites while following all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage systems
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals
