Electrical Assembler

Job Summary Seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler (3–5 years) to assemble power and I/O cabinets, build custom wire harnesses, perform point-to-point wiring, and verify electrical builds using a DMM. Must read electrical schematics and use connector-specific hand tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Assemble power distribution and I/O control cabinets
• Fabricate, route, label, and terminate custom cable harnesses
• Perform point-to-point wiring, crimping, and connector terminations
• Use DMM for continuity, resistance and basic voltage testing
• Inspect and document wiring and terminations for quality
• Troubleshoot wiring/build issues and follow ESD/safety procedures
• Maintain clean, organized work area and complete build documentation

Qualifications

• 3–5 years direct electrical assembly/cable harness experience (semiconductor/metrology or industrial controls preferred)
• Proficient reading schematics and performing point-to-point wiring
• Skilled with crimp tools, insertion/extraction tools, torque drivers; basic soldering a plus
• Comfortable using a digital multimeter for verification
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• High school diploma or GED; technical certificate a plus
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods

Preferred

• Experience with ESD controls, cleanroom/lab environments, and PLC I/O basics

Pay: $25.85 - $31.13 per hour
