Electrical Assembly Engineer (Special Purpose Machine)

Role & responsibilities

• Perform machine electrical wiring / panel wiring and electrical assembly.
• Execute electrical assembly and installation of SPM machines.
• Install and connect motors, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, PLCs, and control panels.
• Perform motor/drive installation and machine interconnections.
• Conduct SPM machine build and testing, FAT and machine trials.
• Carry out electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Support machine commissioning at company and customer sites.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.
• Read and understand electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Controls, Assembly and Service teams.
• Follow electrical safety, 5S and quality requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in SPM / Industrial Automation.
• Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, servo drives, sensors and safety circuits.
• Experience in electrical wiring, panel assembly and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning.
