  • Assemble electrical equipment, integrated electrical systems, racks, skids, and switchboard-related assemblies according to approved drawings and production requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, fixtures, and other production equipment safely and accurately.
  • Install, fit, align, fasten, route, and secure components and hardware as directed by drawings and work instructions.
  • Inspect completed work for workmanship, fit, alignment, component installation, labeling, hardware, and other quality requirements.
  • Identify and communicate missing, damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming materials, components, drawings, or work instructions.
  • Complete required quality checks, production records, work orders, checklists, and other documentation accurately.
  • Coordinate with Electrical Assembly, Engineering, Quality, Materials, Control Wiring, and other functions to resolve production questions, drawing issues, material needs, and approved changes.
  • Perform approved rework, corrections, adjustments, and production changes needed to bring assemblies into conformance.
  • Maintain an organized work area and support safe work practices, housekeeping, productivity, quality, and efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement, process standardization, lean manufacturing, assembly quality, efficiency, and productivity.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints, assembly drawings, bills of material, work instructions, and other production documentation.
  • Ability to safely and accurately use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other equipment required for assigned work.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly concepts appropriate to the assigned level.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, accuracy, productivity, and safe work practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, materials personnel, and other production employees.
  • Ability to learn new products, assembly methods, tools, equipment, and production requirements and work with increasing independence as proficiency develops.
  • Regular on-site physical presence is required; ability to stand and walk for extended periods, perform the physical movements required by the work, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment and follow applicable safety and PPE requirements; additional hours, weekend work, or travel to customer sites may be required based on business needs.
  • Preferred: previous manufacturing, industrial, electrical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly experience.
  • Preferred: experience assembling electrical equipment, control panels, switchboards, racks, skids, or related engineered-to-order products.
  • Preferred: experience reading detailed production drawings and using precision measuring devices, quality documentation, inspection checklists, rework, troubleshooting, or production records.
