Electrical BIM Modeler

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrical BIM Modeler to join our team in Dubai. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate Electrical BIM models, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring that project deliverables comply with project requirements, BIM standards, and relevant codes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and maintain detailed Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Prepare electrical layouts, containment, cable trays, conduits, lighting, power, and other electrical systems in BIM.
• Develop BIM models based on approved drawings, design specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate Electrical models with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve clashes using Navisworks and other coordination tools.
• Review design drawings and specifications to ensure accurate BIM model development.
• Prepare and update shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and BIM deliverables.
• Maintain model accuracy, standards, naming conventions, and BIM protocols.
• Extract quantities and schedules from BIM models when required.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions into the BIM model.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support during coordination.
• Ensure all models are developed according to project BIM Execution Plans and company standards.
• Coordinate with Engineers, BIM Coordinators, and Project Managers to resolve modeling and design issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of BIM models.
• Support the preparation of as-built BIM models and project handover documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Good working knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Experience in Electrical MEP systems and BIM coordination.
• Knowledge of electrical layouts, lighting, power, containment, cable trays, and related systems.
• Good understanding of BIM standards and coordination procedures.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• UAE/GCC project experience will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LOD requirements and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
