Electrical Calibration Engineer

Duties

• Perform calibration of electrical measurement devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications
• Develop and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to facilitate calibration procedures
• Utilize AutoCAD for designing and modifying calibration layouts and documentation
• Maintain detailed records of calibration activities, adjustments, and test results for traceability and quality assurance
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other control systems
• Conduct routine maintenance on calibration equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and customer service requests

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical calibration, maintenance, or related roles within an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for designing layouts and documenting calibration procedures
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their programming or troubleshooting
• Mechanical knowledge to understand system integration and physical components involved in calibration processes
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients
• Ability to interpret technical documents and follow detailed procedures accurately
