Electrical

Key Responsibilities

·        Install electrical wiring systems, control panels, switchboards, and electrical equipment.

·        Perform cable laying, termination, and connection works.

·        Install motors, sensors, lighting systems, and power distribution equipment.

·        Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

·        Check the condition of motors, circuit breakers, contractors, relays, transformers, and control panels.

·        Ensure all electrical equipment operates efficiently and safely.

·        Diagnose electrical faults in machinery and equipment.

·        Troubleshoot motor control circuits, PLC-related interfaces, sensors, and electrical components.

·        Repair or replace defective electrical parts to minimize equipment downtime.

·        Perform electrical testing using multimeters, insulation resistance testers, clamp meters, and other testing instruments.

·        Assist in commissioning new equipment and production machinery.

·        Verify proper operation of electrical systems after installation or repair.

·        Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.

·        Update electrical drawings and maintenance documentation when required.

·        Report recuring issues and recommend corrective actions.

·        Comply with electrical safety regulations, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.

·        Ensure work is carried out in accordance with applicable standards and statutory requirements.

·        Identify potential electrical hazards and recommend preventive measures.

·        Provide technical support during machine breakdowns.

·        Maintain factory utilities and electrical infrastructure.

·        Support continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a technician in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, motors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, measuring instruments, and repair equipment.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or on-call as required.
