About the role

This role involves performing electrical installation, wiring, testing and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment. You will conduct preventive maintenance and electrical repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently, diagnose and rectify electrical faults, and carry out inspection, servicing and repair works at the workshop and customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, wiring, testing and troubleshooting for machinery and equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and electrical repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, control panel issues, motors, sensors and wiring systems
• Carry out inspection, servicing and repair works at the workshop and customer sites
• Assist technicians and engineers in machinery installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety procedures, technical standards and company requirements
• Maintain proper records of inspection, maintenance, repair and electrical work performed
• Coordinate with the Operations, Engineering and Service teams to complete jobs according to schedule
• Respond to machinery breakdowns and urgent electrical issues when required

About you

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as an Electrician or in a related electrical role
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, control panels, motors, sensors and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of machinery operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic technical inspection
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Able to coordinate effectively with customers, technicians, drivers, suppliers and internal departments
• Good problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
• Able to manage multiple operational tasks and meet deadlines
• Safety-conscious, responsible and physically fit for field work
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work outdoors when required
