Electrical Commissioning Engineers – Data Centre

We are supporting the delivery of a major Nordic critical-infrastructure project and are looking for hands-on Electrical Commissioning Engineers.

The work covers the full commissioning lifecycle, including installation verification, pre-commissioning, energisation, functional testing, integrated testing and final handover.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission LV electrical distribution systems.
• Work with switchgear, busbars, PDUs, UPS systems, batteries, generators and ATS/STS equipment.
• Complete insulation resistance, continuity, dead and live testing.
• Test control circuits, interlocks, alarms and communication interfaces.
• Support energisation, fault-finding and system integration.
• Produce test records, punch lists and handover documentation.
• Work safely under approved RAMS, LOTO and permit-to-work procedures.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, controls and project teams.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on electrical testing or commissioning experience.
• Experience personally completing tests rather than only supervising or witnessing them.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with switchgear, UPS, generators or critical-power distribution.
• Relevant electrical qualifications or testing certifications.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Comfortable working independently within a site commissioning team.

Data-centre experience and exposure to L1–L5 commissioning would be highly relevant.
