Duties

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical contracts across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams through effective negotiation and communication.
• Oversee the preparation of project schedules using Microsoft Project, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards by conducting regular site inspections.
• Develop detailed project budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare reports to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
• Organize and maintain comprehensive documentation for contracts, change orders, safety records, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in project management, time management, and organizational workflows.

Skills

• Proven management experience within the construction or electrical contracting industry.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with clients and suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project for scheduling; Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook for documentation and communication.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Solid organizational skills for tracking project milestones, budgets, safety compliance, and documentation.
• Extensive project management experience with a focus on electrical or construction projects.
• In-depth construction experience with knowledge of electrical systems installation standards.
• Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Valid driving license; ability to travel between project sites as required.
• Technical IT skills related to construction management software and office productivity tools.
