Electrical Control Engineer / Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Design electrical control panels with PLC systems

• Prepare BOM based on SLD and system architecture

• Prepare and submit panel drawings

• PLC programming and configuration

• Prepare FDS, Logic Flow Diagrams and test procedures

• Configure, test and commission PLC panels

• Interface PLC with VFD, BMS, SCADA, HMI and other equipment

• Troubleshoot control panels at factory and project sites

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors and system integrators

• Conduct site testing and commissioning

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

• Hands-on experience in control panel troubleshooting

• Experience in PLC programming and configuration

• Knowledge of RS232, RS485 and TCP/IP communication protocols

• Experience with PLC platforms such as Omron, Allen-Bradley, Siemens or Schneider

• Experience with VFD interfacing and commissioning

• Experience with BMS / SCADA / HMI integration

• Able to prepare FDS, Logic Flow Diagrams and test procedures

• Able to perform testing and commissioning at project sites

• Knowledge of AutoCAD / EPLAN is an advantage

• Good understanding of P&ID and process flow drawings

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently and handle multiple projects / sites
