The Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Control Systems Engineer to join our team.

The role will involve:

• System Design: Creating electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and functional design specifications (FDS) for industrial hardware.
• Programming: Developing Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) code to manage automated industrial processes.
• Integration & Testing: Commissioning control panels, troubleshooting hardware/software loops, and integrating systems on-site.
• Collaboration: Working alongside electricians, project managers, and clients to deliver turnkey industrial automation solutions.

Essential Requirements

• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC's, HMI's and SCADA
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with VSD's, instrumentation & industrial automation systems
• Australian citizenship
• Current open Australian driver's licence
• Ability to work in South Australia

Desirable

• Experience with Siemens, Omron, Schneider, Mitsubishi PLC's
• Previous experience working within an electrical contracting or industrial environment
