Electrical Controls Engineer

Electrical & Controls Engineer | Design it. Build it. Commission it. Own it.

Do you want to see your electrical designs come to life on the factory floor, not just on a screen? This role puts you in charge of the full electrical scope: you design the control system, build the panel, then travel to commission it at the customer's site.

You'll join an international engineering team building advanced processing machinery for food producers around the world.

In the office:

▸ Design electrical control systems and run verification tests

▸ Write technical design specs and bring in new electrical components

▸ Do the design calculations and build electrical panels

▸ Design industrial cabling projects

▸ Keep documentation, modules and item lists accurate and version-controlled

▸ Give customers remote technical support

In the field:

▸ Prepare and carry out the controls part of installations (cabinets, software, PLC)

▸ Commission systems and troubleshoot live production issues

▸ Lead local teams on larger installation projects

▸ Train customers and share what you learn with the engineering team

▸ Keep customers updated and report on progress

What you bring:

A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a related field

Hands-on experience with PLCs, control systems, electrical panels and industrial cabling

The ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical documentation

Commissioning, troubleshooting or service experience (preferred)

SEE Electrical and/or EPLAN experience (a big plus)

You're happy to travel internationally and you communicate well with customers
