Electrical Conveyor Installation Supervisor (5+ yrs exp req)

An Electrical Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance, installation, and repair of conveyor systems. This position requires strong technical skills to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot issues, as well as management skills to lead a team, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with other departments. Key duties include performing and managing installations of electrical project’s. Ensuring adherence to safety protocols like NEC and OSHA standards and supervising junior technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff: Lead, mentor, and train a team of electricians and technicians on installation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
• Manage projects: Oversee electrical conveyor installation projects from start to finish, including coordinating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure safety compliance: Enforce and maintain safety protocols, including those from OSHA, and conduct daily safety reporting.
• Perform electrical work: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to assist with complex troubleshooting and repair of control systems.
• Conduct maintenance: Ensure the reliability of conveyor systems through preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Manage daily operations: Monitor project progress, prioritize work, and manage resources effectively, including submitting reports and timesheets.

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with electrical systems and conveyors, often requiring 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience in a supervisory role managing a team.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, such as OSHA.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• A high school diploma or GED is typically required.
• Certifications like OSHA 10/30 are often preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,272.26 - $65,360.14 per year
