  • Cost Analysis & Value Engineering: Conduct cost analysis to ensure project cost-efficiency without compromising quality. Identify areas where savings can be achieved, including material alternatives or labor strategies.
  • Budget Development: Work with project managers to develop realistic and comprehensive project budgets, considering all cost elements and ensuring they meet financial objectives.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather essential information for estimating. Ensure any changes in the project scope are reflected in updated cost projections.
  • Management of Multiple Estimates: Simultaneously handle cost estimation for multiple ongoing projects at various stages, ensuring each project receives accurate and timely estimates.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations: Build strong relationships with local suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality services. Regularly update cost databases to reflect current market trends and pricing in Malta.
  • Risk & Contingency Planning: Identify potential project risks (e.g., delays, supply shortages) and include contingency pricing where necessary to account for unforeseen events.
  • Local Compliance: Ensure that all estimates comply with Malta’s local building codes, health & safety standards, and electrical regulations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all estimates, bids, contracts, and project documentation for future reference and audits.
