ELECTRICAL DESIGN DRAFTER / 3D MODELLER

About the role

Aquatec Maxcon is expanding our specialist engineering and design team in Bangkok and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Design Drafter / 3D Modeller to join us. You'll work directly with our engineering teams in Thailand and Australia, delivering water and wastewater treatment projects across Australasia. This is an industrial/process plant design role covering both electrical documentation and the physical 3D modelling and layout of electrical installations.

Key responsibilities

• 3D modelling of cable trays, cable ladders and electrical containment
• Modelling electrical enclosures, junction boxes, control panels and field equipment
• Producing Electrical General Arrangement drawings
• Cable routing plans, elevations, sections and installation details
• Single-line diagrams and electrical schematics
• Wiring and termination drawings
• MCC, switchboard and control panel layouts
• Cable, equipment and enclosure schedules
• Electrical documentation for pumps, motors, VSDs, valves and process equipment
• Instrumentation and field installation drawings

About you

• Electrical drafting, design or 3D modelling experience within an industrial/process plant environment
• Strong AutoCAD skills
• 3D modelling experience highly regarded
• Experience with MCCs, switchboards, motors, pumps, VSDs and cable containment
• Ability to understand and work from P&IDs
• Instrumentation and control knowledge advantageous
• PLC / SCADA experience advantageous
• AutoCAD Electrical experience highly regarded
• Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk software experience advantageous
• Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Drafting or related discipline preferred
