Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer with around 11 years of experience in the construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, and detailing of RCC and steel structures, ensuring compliance with applicable design codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for RCC and structural steel structures.
• Design structural members such as beams, columns, slabs, foundations, platforms, and supporting structures.
• Evaluate structural loads, including dead loads, live loads, and equipment loads up to 3 tons, as applicable to the project.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings, reinforcement details, and steel fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, MEP, and site execution teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IS codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
• Review shop drawings and provide technical clarifications to site teams.
• Conduct site visits, inspect structural work, and recommend corrective actions when required.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
• Identify design discrepancies and propose technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
• Support project teams with design modifications, value engineering, and constructability reviews.

Technical Skills

• Structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures.
• Knowledge of IS 456, IS 800, IS 875, and other relevant structural design codes.
• Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of structural detailing, design calculations, and drawing preparation.
• Understanding of foundation design, load calculations, and equipment support structures.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, structural drawings, and project specifications.

Required Experience

• Around 11 years of relevant experience in structural design within the construction, infrastructure, or EPC industry.
• Experience handling independent structural design assignments and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in designing structures and supports for equipment loads, including 3-ton applications, where relevant.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and applicable design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple design deliverables and meet project deadlines.
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and site execution teams.
