Electrical Design Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Array Layout Design: Create detailed roof-mount and ground-mount solar or sensor array layouts using AutoCAD.
• Structure & Racking Integration: Select appropriate mounting and racking structures based on site surveys, wind loads, and terrain or roof types.
• Electrical Sizing & Schematics: Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable sizing, conduit routing, and protection system layouts.
• Simulation & Analysis: Perform shadow analysis, system sizing, and performance modeling using tools like PVsyst.
• Documentation: Generate bills of materials (BOM), equipment specification sheets, and cable schedules. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Skills & Requirements

• Experience: 4 to 5 years in electrical and layout design, specifically within solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) or hardware engineering fields.
• Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or specialized solar design tools
• Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with national/international electrical codes (NEC, IEC, or IS codes) and safety guidelines

Pay: Up to ₹54,855.81 per month
