Electrical Design Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Designer with strong control panel and installation design expertise to join our growing engineering team. Your Responsibilities:

· Produce detailed electrical schematics, cable drawings & connection schedules

· Design control panels for manufacture (internal & external panel builders)

· Create BOMs and select appropriate equipment

· Carry out site surveys for upgrades and system improvements

· Develop electrical drawing packs from existing installations

· Produce test documentation

· Support panel testing and commissioning

· Assist with fault-finding and continuous design improvement

· Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

· 5+ years’ experience in electrical design

· Strong control panel and cable installation design experience

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SEE Electrical, or similar

· Experience producing full electrical drawing packs

· Knowledge of PLC / IPC systems and safety systems

· Equipment and instrumentation selection experience

· Understanding of relevant electrical standards

Desirable:

Pneumatics design experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
