Electrical Design Engineer

Overview:

KMNR is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer. Candidate should possess excellent Electrical Building Services Design Engineering skills. Candidate would work along with a team of designers and drafts men to produce tender drawings for client consulting engineers. Excellent written and verbal communication in English is mandatory as you will be working with overseas clients. Candidate who can carry out interviews and in English will be considered.

Technical Knowledge:

The Ideal candidate should have an idea about:

• The design of Building Systems for Commercial, Institutional, High-Rise Residential, Industrial Projects.
• Engineers will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors in Electrical Power Systems in building, Power Distribution Systems, Lighting Design, Communication Systems and Emergency Systems
• Work independently with limited supervision after receiving specific guidelines, industry standards, codes and specifications from a foreign office / client design team.
• Electrical Designers tasks may include creating Electrical Building System Schematics, laying out receptacles, lights and creating panel schedules.
• Work quickly and efficiently while paying attention to details and accuracy
• Using Computer-Aided Design and Engineering Software to create Project Plans, Circuit
• Riser Diagrams
• Building Lighting Load calculations
• Analyzing and Interpreting data (read drawings/designs)

Required skills:

The Ideal candidate should have an idea about:

• In lighting design on soft wares like (Dialux / Relux /Visual)
• AutoCAD Latest version
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Aptitude and passion for Engineering Software
• Be able to work on multiple projects within a fast paced environment.
• Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong English written and verbal communication (Mandatory)

Qualification Required

• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 experience preferred but 06 months experience / Fresh graduate with some experience as Electrical Engineer from a reputable HEC Recognized University may also be considered.
