Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a Remote Electrical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and launch of innovative consumer electronic products. This role will work cross-functionally with engineering, product development, manufacturing, and quality teams to bring new products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for consumer electronic products.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
• Support new product development from concept through production launch.
• Perform component selection, circuit analysis, and design optimization.
• Conduct prototype testing, debugging, and validation.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support EMC/EMI, safety, and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in consumer electronics, IoT, electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, medical devices, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, OrCAD, Cadence, or Eagle.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing multilayer PCBs and high-speed digital circuits.
• Exposure to wireless technologies, battery-powered devices, or connected products.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience supporting products through prototype, testing, and production stages.
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and contract manufacturing environments.
