What they need
- Experience in Qualifying electrical components Temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, Drives, batteries, Contactors and knowledge of Analog circuits,Protection circuits, Controller hardware. 2. Capable of developing and executing test plans, interpreting test data, and developing and driving relevant corrective measures where necessary. 3. Previous experience in New Product Development (NPD) process, DFMEA, 6 Sigma 4. Apply systematic problem-solving skills and investigate product Quality and Reliability issues to find root cause and permanent corrective action design change recommendations. 5. Project management skills, Gate , IDR process. 6. Capablity to develop system architecture and hook-up diagrams 7. Knowledge in PLM and Windchill is an advantage 8. Modelling and simulation would be advantage.
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and Development of Automotive type component s, converters, inverters for HVAC & Transport Refrigeration systems. 2. Hands on experience in developing component DFMEA and test plan development and execution. 3. Create detailed documentation of power electronic components, including detailed specification drawings and Application Specification Documents. 4. Co-ordination of any required regulatory testing of Electrical / Electronic solutions at external agencies, including HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test), EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility) testing, as required per regulatory standards 5. 5+ years' experience in electrical Product design and development. 6. Knowledge and ability to work within New Product Development (NPD) Process, with innate understanding of documented prerequisites and Milestone deliverables. 7. Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards and protocols applicable to mobile AC/DC voltage systems.

- Other Specific Requirements

Good understanding of Electrical and Electro Mechanical component design and development used in Industrial & automotive application. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Exposure to relevant industry standards for electrical component Qualification.
