Job Summary

Shafa Group is seeking an experienced and technically proficient Electrical Design Engineer to join our Building Division in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate must have 10–12 years of electrical design experience, including mandatory UAE experience in luxury villas and high-end residential projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with UAE authority requirements, project specifications, and applicable electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for luxury villas, high-end residential buildings, and other building construction projects.
• Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Design and coordinate power distribution systems, lighting systems, emergency lighting, and small power layouts.
• Prepare load schedules, load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Design and coordinate lighting control, earthing, lightning protection, and low-current systems.
• Review electrical drawings, design briefs, architectural layouts, and project specifications.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, ELV, structural, and architectural disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable UAE electrical regulations, local authority requirements, and relevant international standards.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, material specifications, design reports, and other engineering documentation.
