Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed electrical drawings for various oil & gas, E-house, and skid projects. The role requires the ability to work closely with engineers to create electrical schematics, layouts, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and other technical drawings for electrical systems in the context of industrial projects. The Engineer must ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

The ideal Candidate will oversee all the projects and activities are executed efficiently and in alignment with our goals

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and revise electrical system drawings for oil & gas facilities, E-houses and skid-mounted systems.

· Prepare wiring diagrams, electrical single-line diagrams, layout plans, control panel designs, and interconnection drawings.

· Develop drawings that include equipment and component specifications such as switchboards, transformers, circuit breakers, relays, and control panels.

· Ensure that all CAD drawings meet quality standards and comply with project guidelines, safety regulations, and industry codes (IEC, NEC, etc.).

· Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to engineering standards Prepare and review datasheets of electrical components, cable schedules, and drawings.

· Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to engineering standards and selection.

· Support panel design including interface drawings.

· Generate Electrical schematics, loop diagrams, instrument layouts

· Ensure compliance with IEC, ISA, ATEX, and other applicable standards.

· Provide technical support to procurement and assist in vendor package reviews.

· Create documentation packages for client submission, including as-built drawings.

Technical Skills

o Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, or equivalent).

o Experience with 3D modelling and drafting for electrical systems (Revit MEP or similar).

o Understanding of electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, VFDs, PLCs, and related systems.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics.

· 3+ years of experience in Electrical engineering, preferably in E-house, skid or modular package units.

· Strong knowledge of industry codes (IEC, NEC).

· Hands-on experience with CAD tools (AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.) and engineering software.

· Good understanding of hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety.

· Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
