3. Job Summary

Kittu Electricals Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level Electrical Design Engineer to support its electrical engineering projects remotely.

The selected candidate will prepare electrical designs, drawings, calculations, technical specifications and other project-related documents. The role involves working on assigned engineering projects, selecting suitable electrical components, reviewing design documentation and ensuring that project deliverables meet the specified technical requirements and agreed deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have a background in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering, basic knowledge of electrical design principles and the ability to complete assigned tasks independently.

4. Key Responsibilities

* Prepare electrical designs, wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical panel layouts for assigned projects.

* Perform basic electrical calculations, load assessments and design checks.

* Select suitable electrical components and equipment based on project requirements.

* Prepare electrical drawings, technical specifications, material lists and bills of quantities (BOQs).

* Assist in evaluating electrical system requirements and identifying suitable design solutions.

* Review drawings and calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable electrical standards and project specifications.

* Update electrical designs and drawings based on project requirements and technical feedback.

* Prepare and maintain electrical design documents, reports and drawing revision records.

* Identify design discrepancies and communicate technical questions or issues to the Engineering Manager.

* Submit completed project deliverables to the Engineering Manager through the company's official email within agreed deadlines.

5. Educational Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

* Fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

* A relevant master's degree is an advantage but is not mandatory.

6. Technical Skills

* Basic understanding of electrical circuits, electrical systems and power distribution.

* Familiarity with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.

* Basic understanding of electrical panel layouts and component selection.

* Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and prepare technical documentation.

* Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.

* Ability to organize project files and manage assigned deadlines.

8. Remote Work & Project Submission Requirements

* *Project Assignments:* The Engineering Manager will assign projects and provide the relevant technical requirements and expected deliverables.

* *Flexible Working Arrangement:* The role is fully remote, with flexible scheduling based on assigned project requirements and agreed submission deadlines.

* *Submission Deadlines:* Each assignment will include an agreed deadline, submission format and required documentation.

* *Project Deliverables:* Completed drawings, schematics, calculations, BOQs, specifications and other requested documents must be submitted through the official company email.

* *Revisions:* Requested corrections and design revisions must be completed and resubmitted within the agreed timeframe.

* *Communication:* Official project instructions, technical feedback, submissions and approvals will be handled through company email. WhatsApp may be used for brief coordination or urgent notifications when necessary.

* *Progress Updates:* Routine daily progress reports are not required. The employee must notify the Engineering Manager by email if clarification is needed or an issue is likely to affect a submission deadline.

* *Meetings:* Routine online meetings are not required. Technical discussions may be arranged when necessary.

* *File Management:* Project files must be clearly named, properly organized and maintained with appropriate revision records.

* *Confidentiality:* Company drawings, client information and project documents must remain confidential and be shared only through authorized channels.

* *Performance Evaluation:* Work will be evaluated based on technical accuracy, quality of submissions, compliance with project requirements, timely delivery and responsiveness to revision requests.

9. Employment Terms

* Full-time position with a three-month probation period.

* Monthly salary of ₹18,000–₹20,000, subject to the final employment offer.

* Flexible working arrangements based on project assignments and agreed deliverable deadlines.

* Leave, holidays and other employment benefits will be provided in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

* Continuation after probation will depend on performance and the agreed employment terms.
