Electrical Design Engineer (E-PLAN)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in EPLAN software and electrical design for Special Purpose Machines (SPM). The candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, control panel design, PLC wiring, and electrical schematics for customized machinery and automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and wiring diagrams for SPM machines using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Prepare electrical drawings, control panel layouts, cable schedules, terminal plans, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Design electrical systems for PLC-controlled machines, servo drives, VFDs, sensors, motors, and actuators.
• Select appropriate electrical components, including circuit breakers, contactors, relays, power supplies, and safety devices.
• Coordinate with mechanical design, PLC programming, production, assembly, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure electrical designs comply with applicable industrial standards and customer specifications.
• Support electrical panel manufacturing, machine wiring, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
• Revise electrical drawings based on engineering changes and customer requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of electrical design activities.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 for electrical design and documentation.
• Experience in electrical design for Special Purpose Machines (SPM) or customized industrial machinery.
• Good knowledge of PLC, HMI, servo systems, VFDs, sensors, motors, and industrial control circuits.
• Knowledge of electrical panel design, power distribution, control wiring, and component selection.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and support machine assembly and commissioning.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial automation practices.
• Good coordination, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
