About the Role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer – Lighting Controls to develop high-quality lighting system layouts, diagrams, and construction documents. This role involves designing lighting control systems, preparing technical documentation, interpreting electrical plans and specifications, and recommending solutions for contractors and electrical engineering firms.

The ideal candidate has a strong electrical engineering foundation, proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit, and the ability to translate technical requirements into practical lighting system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lighting control system layouts, diagrams, and construction documents.
• Prepare system designs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), submittals, and technical layouts.
• Read and interpret lighting and electrical floor plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Identify appropriate electrical and lighting control components based on project requirements.
• Recommend technical solutions for lighting system design challenges.
• Communicate technical concepts and product-related information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of accurate design documentation for contractors and electrical engineering firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in lighting controls, fire alarm systems, HVAC systems, or related fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals, including low-voltage and line-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with electrical components such as relays, drivers, and ballasts.
• Knowledge of lighting control systems, including dimming, switching, and bi-level controls, is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with EV charging concepts and battery energy storage systems.
• Experience preparing electrical or lighting system drawings and technical documentation.

Pay: Php100,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
