Electrical Design Engineer ( MEP Consultant)

Job highlights

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 3-8 years experience in Electrical MEP Design and strong knowledge of AutoCAD and load calculation
• Prepare electrical designs, layouts, load calculations, SLDs, BOQ, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams ensuring compliance with standards

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs, layouts, load calculations and SLDs for MEP projects.
• Design lighting, power distribution, cable sizing, transformer, DG and electrical panels.
• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-off and technical specifications.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD/Revit MEP.
• Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architecture and Structural teams.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable NBC, IS and relevant electrical standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams for timely project deliverables.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 38 years of relevant experience in Electrical MEP Design / MEP Consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Building Services and MEP Design.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit MEP knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Load Calculation, SLD, Cable Sizing, BOQ and Electrical Design.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with experience in Residential, Commercial and High-Rise Building Projects will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice period will be preferred.Role & responsibilities
