Tō tūranga hou | Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and commercially sound estimates, tenders, quotations and project costings while also developing electrical designs that meet client, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with project managers, design engineers, field teams and clients, the role will involve:

• Preparing competitive tenders, budgets and project estimates
• Reviewing specifications, drawings, contracts and scope documents
• Producing fit-for-purpose electrical designs and technical solutions
• Supporting project planning, delivery and handover activities
• Identifying project risks and opportunities during tendering and execution

Ngā uara me ngā pūkenga e angitu ai koe | What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, candidates will bring:

• A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in electrical design, estimating, project delivery or a related field
• The ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and contract documentation
• Strong commercial awareness and cost estimation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• A relevant electrical qualification or equivalent industry experience
