Electrical Division Head

Job brief

People First Consult is looking for an experienced Electrical Division Head on behalf of a diversified industrial company within a leading Ethiopian business group.

The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Electrical Division, driving business growth, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the division's operations, business development, and overall performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
• Oversee sales, technical operations, project execution, and customer service, as applicable to the division.
• Identify new market opportunities and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational risks while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Lead and develop the division's team and monitor performance against agreed targets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
• Experience in electrical products, engineering, technical services, or project management.
• Strong commercial awareness, leadership, financial management, and strategic planning skills.
