ELECTRICAL DRAFTER / SITE SUPERVISOR

Work Location: Kempas / Gelang Patah, Johor (Relocation according to company requirements)

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and update Electrical & ELV technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, layout drawings, and construction drawings based on project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and site personnel to ensure drawing accuracy and proper implementation.
• Make revisions to drawings based on site conditions, engineer's instructions, and project requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
• Assist in preparing drawing submissions and other project documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Drafter.
• Fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD skills are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Electrical/ELV systems and construction drawings is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Revit, BIM, or other drafting software is an added advantage.
• Able to read and interpret electrical, ELV, and construction drawings.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates who are able to communicate in Mandarin will be given priority to facilitate communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and team members.
• Willing to travel to project sites or relocate according to project requirements.
• Possess own transportation is an added advantage.

Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and committed Site Supervisor (Electrical / ELV) to supervise daily site operations and ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. The Site Supervisor will work closely with the Project Engineer to coordinate manpower, materials, and site activities while ensuring project progress meets the required schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and workers.
• Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Report daily site activities and work progress to the Project Engineer.
• Lead and manage site workers, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Apply and coordinate work permits, access permits, and other site documentation as required.
• Monitor and control site materials, including receiving, recording, and tracking material usage.
• Coordinate with the Project Engineer on material requirements and prepare material requisitions when required.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports to the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
• Assist in site inspections with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities.
• Ensure good housekeeping and compliance with site safety regulations and company procedures.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, or technical problems to the Project Engineer.
• Maintain proper site records, documentation, and progress updates.

Requirements / Qualifications

• SKM Level 3/4, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Engineering, Construction, or related fields.
• Candidates with A1/A4 Electrical Competency Certificate or relevant electrical competency certification are highly preferred.
• Valid CIDB Green Card is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of site supervision experience is preferred.
• Experience in Electrical & ELV projects, including Electrical Installation, Cable Laying, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, and Fibre Optic, is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics, and site layouts.
• Good leadership, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Willing to travel or relocate according to project requirements.
• Fresh graduates and fresh SKM holders with relevant electrical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
