Electrical Draftsman

1. Prepare and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Prepare electrical shop drawings based on design drawings and project requirements.
3. Prepare lighting, power, cable routing, containment and electrical equipment layouts, as applicable.
4. Prepare/update Single Line Diagrams (SLD) where required.
5. Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
6. Incorporate consultant/client comments and approved site modifications into drawings.
7. Prepare As-Built drawings based on site information and red-line markups.
8. Assist engineers with drawing revisions and technical documentation.
9. Maintain proper drawing revisions and drawing records.
10. Support final documentation and project handover.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Diploma/ITI or relevant qualification in Electrical/Drafting.
2. Minimum 2–3 years Gulf experience in Electrical Drafting – mandatory as per the received requirement.
3. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
4. Experience preparing electrical shop drawings and as-built drawings.
5. Good understanding of electrical systems and symbols.
6. Ability to read design drawings and technical specifications.
7. MEP/building project experience preferred.
8. Revit/BIM experience can be considered an advantage, but it is not stated as mandatory in the client's requirement.
9. Must be available for ASAP mobilization.
