Electrical Draftsman

Imperium Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman to join our UAE team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed electrical drawings for architecture, interior design, and fit-out projects, while ensuring effective coordination with engineering and other MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings based on approved engineering designs and project requirements.
• Develop electrical layouts for lighting, power, small power, and distribution systems.
• Prepare drawings for DBs, panels, cable trays, containment, and electrical equipment.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, and electrical details as required.
• Prepare coordinated electrical drawings for fit-out and interior projects.
• Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Review drawings to identify and resolve potential clashes and coordination issues.
• Incorporate consultant, client, and engineering comments into drawings.
• Prepare and update as-built drawings based on approved site modifications.
• Ensure drawings are produced in accordance with project specifications, applicable standards, and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate drawing revisions and documentation.
• Deliver drawings within agreed project schedules and quality standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience as an Electrical Draftsman.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Practical experience with Revit MEP is highly preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting, power, electrical distribution, containment, and low-voltage systems.
• Proven experience preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and technical drawing standards.
• Previous experience with fit-out, interior design, architectural, or consultancy projects is preferred.
• UAE project experience is Must.
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, architectural drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
