Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Draftsman with strong knowledge of electrical drafting for building services projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD and preparation of electrical layouts, drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical layouts, plans, sections and schematic drawings.
• Develop lighting, power distribution and electrical containment layouts.
• Prepare drawings for MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, cable trays and electrical equipment.
• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) based on engineering designs.
• Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC and plumbing/PHE services.
• Prepare GFC/IFC drawings and incorporate design revisions.
• Review drawings for accuracy and maintain project documentation.
• Support Electrical Design Engineers with drafting and coordination activities.
• Follow project-specific drafting standards and client requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Electrical Drafting and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of MEP building services and electrical layouts.
• Understanding of lighting, power distribution, SLDs and cable tray layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of Revit MEP/Electrical is an added advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant electrical drafting experience.
• Experience in MEP design consulting companies.
• Exposure to commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare or high-rise building projects.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, Navisworks or international projects is an added advantage.
