  • Encourage consistent documentation habits that improve communication between the field, project management, prefab, and quality teams.

Prefab Lab Leadership

  • Serve as a leader in the prefab lab by supporting layout, assembly methods, material organization, workflow improvements, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with field leaders to identify prefab opportunities that reduce rework, improve installation speed, and support project schedules.
  • Train employees on prefab standards, safe tool use, labeling, packaging, staging, and delivery expectations.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on prefab processes, productivity opportunities, and training needs.

Classroom Training

  • Develop and deliver classroom training for apprentices, helpers, journeymen, foremen, and other field personnel as needed.
  • Provide instruction on electrical efficiency, installation best practices, safety expectations, blueprint reading, material planning, prefab coordination, Procore basics, and lessons learned from inspections.
  • Prepare training materials, demonstrations, worksheets, and practical examples that connect classroom learning to jobsite conditions.
  • Track participation, gather feedback, and recommend future training topics based on field performance and project needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong electrical field experience with a solid understanding of installation sequencing, safety practices, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Ability to coach employees at different experience levels with patience, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Working knowledge of Procore or willingness to strengthen Procore skills for project documentation and information gathering.
  • Strong communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with foremen, project managers, inspectors, prefab teams, and field crews.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
