Electrical Engineer (3–5 Years GCC Construction Experience)

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and driven Electrical Engineer to join our construction team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will handle site execution, coordination, and supervision of all electrical and Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) works. This role requires 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Engineer in the construction industry, with mandatory exposure to Qatar or broader GCC project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Supervise the installation of electrical works, including power distribution, lighting, containment, cabling, switchgear, transformer installations, and ELV systems (CCTV, fire alarm, access control).
• Progress & Planning: Monitor daily site progress against the project schedule. Coordinate workforce, materials, and equipment to ensure deadlines are met without compromising safety or quality.
• Drawing & Design Review: Review electrical shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and schematic drawings to resolve discrepancies before execution.
• Coordination: Liaise closely with main contractors, subcontractors, civil/mechanical engineering teams, and client representatives to ensure smooth interface and clash resolution.
• Authority Approvals: Coordinate and align site execution with local standards and authority guidelines, particularly KAHRAMAA and Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) requirements.
• Material Management: Estimate material requirements, track material deliveries, and raise material inspection requests once items arrive on site.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited and recognized university.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of verified field experience as an Electrical Engineer directly on construction sites.
• Regional Experience: Mandatory 3+ years of experience within Qatar or the GCC region. Thorough familiarity with QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution systems, building codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MS Project.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
