Electrical Engineer (6-month contract)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale data center construction project in Jakarta. You will oversee electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities while ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with contractors and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering critical electrical infrastructure for a mission-critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, installation, and delivery of electrical systems.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Support power distribution, grounding, and lightning protection systems.
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and system handover activities.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Track project progress, risks, and project deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in electrical engineering, construction, or project delivery.
• Experience in data centers, critical facilities, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with testing and commissioning activities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
