AECC Group LLC is seeking qualified Electrical Engineers and Plumbing Engineers to support our engineering and design projects in the Washington, DC area.

Electrical Engineer – Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design and construction documents for commercial, institutional, and government projects.
• Prepare power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage design.
• Perform electrical load calculations and system sizing.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, mechanical, and civil disciplines.
• Review plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Produce and review drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM/design software.
• Support permitting, RFIs, submittal reviews, and technical coordination.

Plumbing Engineer – Responsibilities

• Develop plumbing design and construction documents for commercial, institutional, and government projects.
• Design domestic water, sanitary, storm drainage, and related plumbing systems.
• Perform plumbing calculations and equipment/system sizing.
• Coordinate plumbing systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
• Review plans and specifications for code compliance.
• Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM/design software.
• Support permitting, RFIs, submittal reviews, and technical coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical/Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant professional engineering/design experience.
• PE license preferred; DC PE license is a strong advantage.
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, institutional, or government projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applicable building codes and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other engineering design tools.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
