Electrical Engineer – Cable Installation

Vacancies: 1 | MV / HV / LV / Control Cables

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for cable laying works for MV, HV, LV, and control cables.

· Prepare cable cutting lengths prior to cable laying.

· Update the overall cable schedule for as-built preparation.

· Responsible for gland selection, ferrule preparation, and earthing arrangements.

· Prepare final cable pulling lengths as per site conditions.

· Lead the installation team for termination works.

· Assist cable testing activities prior to termination.

· Perform cable continuity tests prior to cable termination works.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

· At least 2–4 years of experience in laying MV, LV, and control cables in GIS substation projects.

· Good English communication skills (speaking and writing), with the ability to explain and mediate technical issues with OE and EPC.

· Knowledge of GCC/GSA-country standards related to power systems.
