About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team at Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative. This is a full-time position based in Tarlac, Central Luzon, offering a strategic opportunity to contribute to our engineering initiatives and support the continued growth and innovation of our organisation. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment that are fundamental to our operations. Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, and develop electrical systems, circuits, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and regulatory standards
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for electrical projects
• Test, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical system malfunctions, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance
• Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment and infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technicians, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes, standards, and health and safety regulations
• Monitor project progress, maintain detailed records, and provide regular progress reports to management
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance efficiency
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technical staff as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, with valid professional engineering licensure
• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering design, installation, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and industrial equipment
• Proficiency with electrical design software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools
• Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong analytical and technical skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and reports
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Project management experience and familiarity with project scheduling and cost estimation
• Preferred experience in industrial, commercial, or renewable energy applications
