Electrical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with strong hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 to support electrical design, documentation, control panel development, and engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical wiring schematics, control drawings, BOMs, manufacturing documentation, and P&ID drawings. Experience with bioprocessing equipment and ASME/BPE standards is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical wiring schematics and control drawings using EPLAN Electric P8 .
• Create general arrangement drawings and control panel designs using EPLAN, AutoCAD, and related engineering tools .
• Prepare, review, and maintain electrical documentation, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and wire charts.
• Create and maintain component BOM documentation and support 3D BOM requirements.
• Read and interpret P&ID drawings , customer specifications, electrical schematics, and control documentation.
• Create and maintain piping drawings based on P&IDs and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project engineering and project management teams to develop and maintain project documentation.
• Perform document quality checks and ensure engineering and manufacturing drawings meet project requirements.
• Generate and manage Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) .
• Support electrical and mechanical design activities using EPLAN, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Inventor .
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with applicable engineering standards and customer specifications.
• Apply knowledge of ASME/BPE standards for bioprocessing equipment where applicable.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of electrical engineering/design experience .
• Strong hands-on experience with EPLAN Electric P8 – Must Have .
• Experience developing electrical wiring schematics and control drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor .
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings .
• Experience with control panel design, general arrangement drawings, BOMs, and wire charts.
• Experience with engineering documentation and manufacturing drawing quality checks.
• Strong understanding of customer specifications and engineering change processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASME/BPE bioprocessing equipment standards .
• Experience with piping drawings and 3D BOM documentation.
• Experience working with ECNs and engineering change management.
• Experience in process equipment, bioprocessing, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing environments.
