The Role

You'll join a highly regarded building services team, playing a key role in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Working alongside experienced engineers and industry professionals, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of a wide variety of developments, providing technical expertise, client engagement, and project coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

Depending on your discipline and experience, your responsibilities may include concept design, detailed documentation, site inspections, client presentations, technical reporting, and construction-phase support. You'll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

For more senior candidates, there will also be opportunities to mentor junior team members, lead projects, and contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the business.

About You

You're an experienced Building Services Engineer who enjoys working in a consultancy environment and is passionate about delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions. You have strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and enjoy building lasting relationships with clients and project teams.

You will have:

* A relevant engineering qualification (BE, BEngTech, or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years of consultancy experience within the New Zealand building services sector
* Experience delivering projects from concept through to construction
* Strong understanding of New Zealand building codes, standards, and industry practices
* Experience using industry-standard design and documentation software relevant to your discipline
* Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills
* The ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary project teams
