About the Role

Golden 8 Construction and Development Corp. is seeking a skilled and driven Electrical Engineer to help power our growing portfolio of residential construction projects. In this role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of electrical systems from design and installation to testing and final turnover. You will play a critical part in ensuring all electrical works meet stringent safety regulations, engineering standards, and project deadlines.

What You Will Do

• Project Supervision & Execution: Oversee on-site electrical installations, ensuring absolute compliance with approved plans, project specs, and the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC).
• Design & Technical Review: Evaluate, interpret, and prepare electrical plans, technical specifications, shop drawings, and as-built plans.
• Estimation & Procurement: Conduct accurate material take-offs, calculate quantities, prepare electrical estimates, and assist in procurement.
• Site Management & Safety: Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical construction issues, and enforce company quality and safety standards.
• Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Subcontractors, and other engineering teams to keep projects aligned.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor work quality and project schedules, delivering comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Commissioning: Assist in the final testing, commissioning, and formal turnover of completed projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensure: Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is highly preferred.
• Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, building, or construction projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and modern electrical design standards.
• Software Skills: Highly proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Core Competencies: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a proven background in project supervision, quality control, and estimation.
• Work Style: Exceptional ability to multitask, manage tight deadlines.
