ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

About the role

Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works on-site. Review and interpret electrical plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Coordinate with the Construction Head, Project Engineer, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works on-site
• Review and interpret electrical plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with the Construction Head, Project Engineer, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues
• Prepare and monitor work schedules to ensure timely completion of electrical activities
• Conduct inspections of electrical materials and installations to ensure quality workmanship
• Verify that all electrical materials delivered to the site comply with approved specifications
• Prepare materials requisition, Requests for Inspection (RFI), testing and commissioning documents, punch lists, and completion reports
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports
• Assist in cost control by monitoring material usage and minimizing wastage
• Ensure proper implementation of occupational health and safety procedures during electrical works

About you

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (REE)
• At least 1 year experience in building construction projects
• Knowledgeable in the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and relevant construction standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Capable of managing subcontractors and coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams
• Knowledge of electrical systems installation, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and auxiliary systems
• Willing to work on-site in Cagayan de Oro City
