Voor een technologieleverancier gespecialiseerd in hernieuwbaar gas en oplossingen voor het opvangen van CO₂, gevestigd in Hengelo, zoeken wij een ervaren Electrical Engineer met een elektrotechnische achtergrond. Je bent het technische aanspreekpunt binnen projecten en zorgt dat alles, van ontwerp tot commissioning, op elkaar aansluit. Je komt hierbij rechtstreeks in dienst bij de opdrachtgever.

Jouw rol

Als Electrical Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de technische invulling van elektrotechnische systemen binnen concrete energieprojecten. Je maakt deel uit van het team Electrical en Software Engineering en rapporteert aan de Manager E&I en Software. Je werkt intensief samen met collega-engineers, zowel in Nederland als bij een partner in Polen, waar je betrokken bent bij de bouw en inbedrijfstelling van containers.

Je bent het technische aanspreekpunt richting klanten en leveranciers: je beoordeelt technische offertes, werkt elektrotechnische documentatie uit en controleert schema's. Daarnaast voer je berekeningen uit op het gebied van ATEX en SIL, en lever je technische ondersteuning tijdens de commissioning en opstart van installaties. Zo bouw je vroeg in je carrière al internationale ervaring op en groei je door naar een allround Electrical Engineer.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

• Beoordelen van technische offertes en opstellen van aanvragen richting leveranciers;
• Fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor klanten;
• Samenwerken met collega-engineers van Electrical en Software, zowel in Nederland als Polen;
• Uitwerken van elektrotechnische documentatie, zoals schema's, kabel- en belastingsoverzichten;
• Controleren van elektroschema's en aansturen van paneelbouwers;
• Uitvoeren van berekeningen op het gebied van ATEX en SIL;
• Ondersteunen bij de technische kant van commissioning en opstart van installaties.

Dit neem jij mee

• Een afgeronde technische opleiding op minimaal mbo-4 niveau, bijvoorbeeld in elektrotechniek of industriële automatisering;
• Circa 4 jaar ervaring met het ontwerpen en realiseren van elektrische systemen;
• Kennis van relevante normen en richtlijnen, zoals ISO, IEC, UL, CSA, ATEX en SIL;
• Een proactieve, nauwkeurige en oplossingsgerichte werkhouding;
• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een teamgerichte instelling;
• Een goede beheersing van het Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

Electrical Engineer

Do you want to take responsibility for the technical side of electrical systems within international sustainable energy projects? For a technology provider specializing in renewable gas and CO₂ capture solutions, based in Hengelo, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with an electrical engineering background. You are the technical point of contact within projects and make sure everything, from design to commissioning, fits together. You will be employed directly by the client.

Your role

As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for the technical implementation of electrical systems within concrete energy projects. You're part of the Electrical and Software Engineering team and report to the Manager of E&I and Software. You work closely with fellow engineers, both in the Netherlands and at a partner in Poland, where you're involved in the construction and commissioning of containers.

You act as the technical point of contact for clients and suppliers: reviewing technical proposals, preparing electrical documentation, and checking schematics. You also carry out ATEX and SIL calculations and provide technical support during the commissioning and start-up of installations. This gives you international experience early in your career and helps you grow into a well-rounded Electrical Engineer.

Your responsibilities

• Reviewing technical proposals and preparing supplier inquiries;
• Acting as the technical point of contact for clients;
• Collaborating with fellow Electrical and Software engineers, both in the Netherlands and Poland;
• Preparing electrical documentation, such as diagrams, cable lists, and load overviews;
• Reviewing electrical schematics and directing panel builders;
• Carrying out ATEX and SIL calculations;
• Providing technical support during commissioning and start-up of installations.

What you bring

• A completed technical education at MBO-4 level or higher, for example in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation;
• Around 4 years of experience designing and implementing electrical systems;
• Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines, such as ISO, IEC, UL, CSA, ATEX, and SIL;
• A proactive, accurate, and solution-oriented approach to work;
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset;
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
